Basketball Recap: Carroll Academy Takes a Loss

Carroll Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 22nd straight loss dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Hardin County Tigers, falling 76-39. While losing is never fun, the Jaguars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 358th, while the Tigers are ranked 174th).

Carroll Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Hardin County, their win bumped their record up to 8-9.

Carroll Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Fayette Academy at 2:00 p.m. on January 27th. As for Hardin County, they are taking a road trip to face off against Lexington at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
