Football Recap: Eastpointe Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Eastpointe's offense. They were outmatched by the Marine City Mariners and fell 67-0. The loss continues a trend for the Shamrocks in their meetings with the Mariners: they've now lost four in a row.

Eastpointe's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Marine City, they pushed their record up to 6-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, Eastpointe will square off against Clawson at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Marine City, they will venture away from home to face off against Notre Dame Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
