Baseball Recap: Ranney vs. St. John-Vianney Lancers

Ranney won the last time they faced St. John-Vianney, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Ranney had just enough and edged the St. John-Vianney Lancers out 7-6. The win made it back-to-back victories for Ranney.

Zach Messina tossed a big game, tossing five innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off nine hits.

At the plate, Andrew Parisi was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Nate Fuller, who went 1-for-3 with a home run.
