Swett came tearing into Wednesday's match with seven straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Richmond Oilers 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in March.

While Swett won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-15, 26-24.

Swett's victory bumped their record up to 18-5. As for Richmond, their loss ended a six-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-10.

Swett and Richmond will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time the Warriors see the court they'll take on Salesian College Preparatory at 7:00 p.m. on the 15th. As for Richmond, their break will end when they face De Anza at 7:00 p.m. on the 15th.
