Volleyball Recap: Trinity Christian Comes Up Short on the Road Against Madonna

Trinity Christian kicked off their season on the road on Tuesday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell 2-0 to the Madonna Blue Dons. The Warriors were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Blue Dons apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-20.

Marlo Flecker paced Trinity Christian's offense, picking up three kills. Flecker got some help from Addyson Dunn and her eight assists. Audrey Knight controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Madonna's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 3-3-1.

Trinity Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against The Linsly School on the 28th. As for Madonna, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Catholic Central on the 27th.
