Softball Recap: McLean County Comes Up Short

The McLean County Cougars came up short against the Hopkins County Central Storm on Saturday, falling 14-8.

Abby Walker was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with three RBI and one run. Another player making a difference was Shelby Rickard, who went 1-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

McLean County's defeat dropped their record down to 3-12-1. As for Hopkins County Central, their victory ended an 11-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 7-23-1.

As of now, neither McLean County nor the Storm have any future games scheduled.
