Volleyball Game Preview: Lakeland Dreadnaughts vs. Kathleen Red Devils

Lakeland has gone a perfect 10-0 against Kathleen recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Dreadnaughts will welcome the Red Devils at 7:00 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Lakeland lost 3-0 to Winter Haven on Tuesday. The loss continues a trend for the Dreadnaughts in their meetings with the Blue Devils: they've now lost eight in a row.

The final score came out to 25-12, 25-13, 25-11.

Despite the defeat, Lakeland saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Remington Brown had 11 digs and two assists. Brown is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last nine games she's played.

Meanwhile, Kathleen came up short against Fort Meade on Thursday, falling 3-0.

Kathleen may have fallen short, but they were sure consistent: they scored 15 points in every single set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-15, 25-15.

Kathleen's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Lakeland, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-8.
