Volleyball Recap: Smith Center Extends Winning Streak to Three

Smith Center had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Sublette Larks.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Smith Center was: they took both sets by at least 12 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-3.

Leah McKelvey paced Smith Center's offense, picking up nine kills. McKelvey got some help from Tatumn Rentschler and her eight assists. Lillie Heiland controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Smith Center's win bumped their record up to 21-14. As for Sublette, they dropped their record down to 5-28 with the defeat, which was their 17th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Smith Center has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Oakley on the 20th. Sublette has also already played their next contest (against Hoxie), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
