They fell just short of Wesleyan Christian Academy by a score of 11-9 on Tuesday. Surprisingly, this marked the fourth straight game that the away team has come away the victor.

Presley Harrison was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Bella Gibb, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Berkeley Miller was huge no matter where she played even without the win. She pitched 1.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in nine consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Miller wasn't the only one making solid contact as six players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Landry Miller, who scored two runs while going 2-for-4.

Rocky Mount Academy now has a losing record of 6-7. As for North Raleigh Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-9.
