Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Roane County). They put the hurt on the Carter Green Hornets with a sharp 75-55 win on Thursday. Given the Yellowjackets' advantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 123rd, while the Green Hornets are ranked 265th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Roane County pushed their record up to 14-10 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.0 points over those games. As for Carter, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-22.
