Baseball Recap: Seattle Academy Takes a Loss

Seattle Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Bishop Blanchet Bears.

Seattle Academy saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Chase Davidson, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

Seattle Academy's loss dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Bishop Blanchet, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season.

Seattle Academy will face off against Inglemoor at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. The Vikings' pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so the Cardinals' hitters will have their work cut out for them. Bishop Blanchet does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
