Basketball Game Preview: Orange Panthers vs. Person Rockets

The Orange Panthers will host the Person Rockets at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Orange is headed into the contest after thoroughly thrashing Cedar Ridge: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Orange blew Cedar Ridge out of the water with a 61-21 final score. The Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matchups by 22 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, a well-balanced attack led Person over Southern Alamance in every quarter on their way to victory on Friday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Person blew Southern Alamance out of the water with a 75-39 final score. That looming 75-39 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Rockets yet this season.

Orange has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.3 points per game. As for Person, their win bumped their record up to 18-2.
