The Virgin Valley Bulldogs will face off against the Boulder City Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Virgin Valley is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last nine games.

Virgin Valley not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since March 26th. They blew past Pinecrest Academy Cadence 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-8, 25-18.

Aiden Muniz was a one-man wrecking crew as he had 15 digs and three aces.

Muniz wasn't the only good server: Virgin Valley was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 14 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in seven consecutive games.

Meanwhile, Boulder City faced Centennial in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Eagles took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bulldogs. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Eagles haven't been shut out since back in March.

Boulder City's defeat dropped their record down to 16-6. As for Virgin Valley, they pushed their record up to 20-5 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home.
