Softball Recap: Splendora Comes Up Short

Splendora lost a heartbreaker to Porter when they met back in February of 2024, and they left with a heavy heart again on Friday. The Wildcats lost 12-5 to the Spartans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Spartans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-3 back in March.

Splendora has also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-14 record this season. As for Porter, their win bumped their record up to 12-10-1.

Coincidentally, Splendora and Porter will both be playing Kingwood Park the next time they take the field. The Spartans will host the Panthers at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Wildcats will head out to face them at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
