Soccer Recap: Castle Comes Up Short

If Castle was riding high fresh off their 9-0 takedown of Evansville Central on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Castle fell just short of Lexington Catholic by a score of 3-2 on Friday.

Charlotte Hendricks and Ava Mcconnell scored both of Castle's goals, bringing their combined season tally to four goals.

Castle's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Lexington Catholic, their win bumped their record up to 8-0-1.

Looking ahead, Castle will take on Collierville in a tournament on Saturday. As for Lexington Catholic, they will be taking part in a tournament against Fishers at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
