Volleyball Recap: Ashland-Greenwood Picks Up Sixth Consecutive Victory

Ashland-Greenwood had already won five in a row and they went ahead and made it six on Tuesday. They blew past the Plattsmouth Blue Devils 3-0. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 2-0 victory on Saturday.

Ashland-Greenwood walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-12, 25-17.

Marley Glock paced Ashland-Greenwood's offense, picking up seven kills. Glock got some help from Tayva Burkey and her 18 assists. Gabby Scribner controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Ashland-Greenwood's win bumped their record up to 17-5. As for Plattsmouth, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-14.

Ashland-Greenwood wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Malcolm on the 9th. As for Plattsmouth, they have also already played their next match, a 3-2 victory against Nebraska City on the 9th.
