Bluffton extends road losing streak to four

Recap: Bluffton Bobcats vs. Colleton County Cougars

The Bluffton Bobcats fought the good fight in their overtime game against the Colleton County Cougars on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 50-48. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss Bluffton has suffered yet this season.

Bluffton lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Brandon Bryant, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds and two steals. Carnell Warren was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with eight rebounds.

Mykeem Gant was his usual excellent self, scoring 17 points along with four steals for Colleton County. Another player making a difference was Brian Hamilton, who scored 13 points along with five rebounds.

Bluffton bumped their record down to 7-10 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Colleton County, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 12-6.

Bluffton will be playing at home against May River at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Colleton County, they will head out on the road to take on Lucy Beckham at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
