Volleyball Game Preview: Queen Creek Bulldogs vs. Higley Knights

Queen Creek came up short against Desert Ridge on Tuesday, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Bulldogs have suffered against the Jaguars since April 7, 2022.

Queen Creek took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-18, 25-23.

Meanwhile, Higley faced Casteel in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. The Knights fell just short of the Colts by a score of 3-2. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Higley started the match hot and won the first two sets, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 26-28, 25-23, 25-21, 15-10.

Higley's defeat dropped their record down to 20-5-2. As for Queen Creek, their loss dropped their record down to 9-14.
