Corning faced Subiaco Academy in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Bobcats secured a 24-18 W over the Trojans. The Bobcats' win was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

Corning's victory bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Subiaco Academy, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 6-1.

Coming up, Corning will square off against Cave City at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Subiaco Academy, after each having a week off, they and Abundant Life will shake off the cobwebs and hit the field against one another at 7:00 p.m. on the 17th. The Trojans will need to watch out since the Owls have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.
