Baseball Recap: Midlothian Takes a Loss

Midlothian was the 8-6 winner over Monacan when they last played one another back in March, but their luck changed this time around. The Trojans fell 7-4 to the Chiefs on Tuesday. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Midlothian's loss dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Monacan, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-6-1 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Midlothian will face off against Cosby at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Titans' pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so the Trojans' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Monacan, they will challenge Richmond High School for the Arts at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Chiefs are facing the Bulldogs at the right time seeing as the Bulldogs are stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
