Softball Recap: Englewood Takes a Loss

Thursday just wasn't the day for Englewood's offense. They lost 15-0 to the ED White Commanders on Thursday. The Rams were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Commanders apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Englewood has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season. As for ED White, they moved to 2-8 with that victory, which also ended their six-game losing streak.

Coming up, Englewood will take on Fletcher at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for ED White, they will face off against Ribault at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Trojans have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 17 runs per game on average), something the Commanders will no doubt try to take advantage of.
