It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Seward had no problem doing just that on Friday. They claimed a resounding 36-6 win over the Nikiski Bulldogs on the road. Fans of the Seahawks have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Seward had a senior duo take command as Ronan Bickling rushed for 117 yards and two touchdowns on only 13 carries and Noah Price rushed for 104 yards on only 14 carries. Those 104 rushing yards set a new season-high mark for Price.

Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Seward was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 261 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 151 rushing yards in 15 consecutive matchups dating back to last season.

Seward's defense made their presence known, laying out the QB 4.5 times. Leading the way was Jack Gardner with 2.5 sacks. Seward got some further help from Emerson Cross: he picked up a sack and made nine total tackles (2.0 for loss).
