Volleyball Recap: Mt. Vernon Wildcats vs. Washington Hatchets

Mt. Vernon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Washington Hatchets. The Wildcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Hatchets apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2023.

After all that action, the final score was 25-21, 25-11, 25-16.

When it comes to explaining why Mt. Vernon lost, don't look at Maiya Jones. Despite the final result, she had eight digs and two aces. That's the most aces Jones has posted since back in August.
