Volleyball Recap: Jasper Falls Short of Tri-West Hendricks in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Jasper can now relate to. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tri-West Hendricks Bruins on Saturday. The Wildcats' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

When it comes to explaining why Jasper lost, don't look at Nora Breitwieser. Despite the final result, she had 32 digs and two aces. Breitwieser has been hot, having posted 12 or more digs the last seven times she's played. Stella Knies was another key player, getting nine digs.

Finley Dakin was a one-woman wrecking crew For Tri-West Hendricks. as she had 20 digs and two aces.

Jasper's loss dropped their record down to 24-12. As for Tri-West Hendricks, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-12 record this season.
