Basketball Game Preview: Austin Mustangs vs. Madison Marlins

Austin hasn't had much luck against Madison recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Austin Mustangs will venture away from home to take on the Madison Marlins at 7:15 p.m. Austin will be strutting in after a victory while Madison will be coming in after a defeat.

Last Monday, Austin strolled past Westbury with points to spare, taking the game 46-29. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Mustangs.

Meanwhile, Madison was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were beaten by Westbury 72-31.

Austin's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-7. As for Madison, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-15.

Austin strolled past Madison in their previous matchup back in November of 2024 by a score of 47-30. The rematch might be a little tougher for Austin since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
