Volleyball Recap: Hillcrest Comes Up Short

Hillcrest lost against Rancho Christian back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Trojans lost 3-0 to the Eagles. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Brighton Richards was the offensive standout of the match as she had seven digs and three aces. That's the most aces she has posted over her last six contests.

Hillcrest's loss dropped their record down to 12-17. As for Rancho Christian, the victory (which was their 14th in a row) raised their record to 27-4.

Hillcrest does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Rancho Christian, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Paloma Valley at 5:30 p.m.
