Basketball Recap: Jones Falls Short of Bay City in the Playoffs

Jones and Bay City squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Jones had to settle for second. They took a 72-64 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bay City Blackcats.

Leading Bay City to victory were Alex Estrada and Javius Andrews. Estrada dropped a double-double with 20 points and 11 steals, while Andrews went 9-for-16 en route to 20 points and four steals. Those 11 steals gave Estrada a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Brayden Ellis, who posted ten points.

Jones' loss dropped their record down to 17-13. As for Bay City, they now have a winning record of 12-11.

Jones does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Bay City has already played their next game (against La Feria), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
