City of Life Christian Academy lost to Oasis Christian back in October of 2023, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Warriors walked away with a 20-12 win over the Lions.

Oasis Christian's loss came despite strong showings from Nate Gross and Brandon Earls. Gross rushed for 105 yards and one touchdown on only 12 carries, while Earls picked up 56 receiving yards and one score. Earls' longest reception was for an impressive 56 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per catch total.

City of Life Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

City of Life Christian Academy and Oasis Christian will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Warriors are set to face off against their familiar foe Calvary Chapel Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Oasis Christian will challenge rival Hernando Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
