Volleyball Recap: Gunter Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Gunter took on Walnut Grove on Saturday. The Tigers fell 2-0 to the Wildcats.

Walnut Grove can attribute much of their success to Maleah Evans, who had eight assists and six digs. That's the most digs Evans has posted over her last seven matchups.

Gunter's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Walnut Grove, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Gunter will welcome Aubrey at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Walnut Grove, they will host Wakeland at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
