Montrose won against Lakeland last Friday with ten runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Thursday. The Meteors put the hurt on the Forest City Foresters with a sharp 10-4 win. The victory continues a trend for the Meteors in their matchups with the Foresters: they've now won three in a row.

Jocelyn Traver made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out 11 batters over seven innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off eight hits.
