The Saint James Saints will square off against the Berkeley Springs Indians at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Berkeley Springs took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Saint James, who comes in off a win.
Saint James is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over McLean on Tuesday. The Saints not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since April 17, 2024.

James Reinhardt was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing two innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, scoring three runs while going 2-for-3.
In other batting news, Saint James got a big performance out of Nolan Schlotterbeck, who scored two runs while going 1-for-3. Those runs were Schlotterbeck's first of the season. Another player making a difference was Jaxson Bell, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-4.
Saint James always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .545. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Berkeley Springs lost 24-8 to Frankfort on Wednesday. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Kyle Moore was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with three RBI and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Chase Stotler, who scored two runs while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances.
Saint James' victory bumped their record up to 2-5. As for Berkeley Springs, their loss dropped their record down to 1-16.
Berkeley Springs' hitters will have their work cut out for them on Thursday. Saint James has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 8.6 strikeouts per game.
