Soccer Recap: Chiles Find Success

Chiles won the last time they faced Leon and things went their way on Friday too. The Chiles Timberwolves sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Leon Lions. Given the Timberwolves' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 31st, while the Lions are ranked 218th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Chiles is also on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-2-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 13 goals over those five matchups. As for Leon, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-9-1.

As of now, neither Chiles nor Leon have any future games scheduled.
