Baseball Recap: Burlington-Edison Continues Home Dominance on Monday

There's no place like home for Burlington-Edison, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They walked away with a 6-2 victory over the Ferndale Golden Eagles on Monday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 9-8 back in April.

Burlington-Edison saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cody Roetcisoender, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one RBI. Cooper Lane also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Burlington-Edison's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-4. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.5 runs on average over those games. As for Ferndale, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-10.

As of now, neither Burlington-Edison nor the Golden Eagles have any future games scheduled.
