Bloomfield has been on the road for three straight, but on Tuesday they'll finally head home. They will host the St. John Fighting Herald at 5:30 p.m.

Bloomfield lost 3-0 to Harding on Thursday.

While Bloomfield was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 27-25, 25-11.

Despite their loss, Bloomfield saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Tessa Gwinn, who had 15 digs and five kills, was perhaps the best of all. Gwinn is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 14 or more in the last five games she's played dating back to last season. The team also got some help courtesy of Nevaeh Doll, who had 18 digs and three kills.

Meanwhile, St. John put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on Mathews with a sharp 3-0 victory.

St. John never let Mathews on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-22, 25-9.

St. John can attribute much of their success to Alexa Jordan, who had 13 digs and two aces.

Bloomfield's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9. As for St. John, their win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-0.
