Blue Valley North had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.3 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 41-38 victory over the Blue Valley West Jaguars. The 41-point effort marked the Mustangs' lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Blue Valley North's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-1. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.3 points per game. As for Blue Valley West, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.
