Basketball Recap: Minnetonka Falls Short Against Ranked Horace

Minnetonka is ranked highly in their home state and on Saturday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Horace. The Minnetonka Skippers were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 82-81 to Horace. The Skippers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Minnetonka's loss dropped their record down to 13-11. As for Horace, the win was the 16th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 18-1.

Minnetonka didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, an 80-37 victory against Edina on the 18th. As for Horace, they will host Red River at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
