Softball Recap: Deshler Takes a Loss

Deshler and Brooks squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Deshler had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Lions by a score of 3-1. That's two games in a row now that the Tigers have lost by exactly two runs.

This is the second loss in a row for Deshler and nudges their season record down to 29-17. Even worse, they were so close both times: the losses came by an average of only two runs. As for Brooks, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 17-16.

Deshler does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Brooks, they have already played their next game, a 3-2 defeat against Hatton on the 29th.
