Basketball Recap: Sanford-Fritch Takes a Loss

Sanford-Fritch was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 60-49 to the Vega Longhorns. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 45-43 back in December of 2024.

Sanford-Fritch's loss dropped their record down to 12-7. As for Vega, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 16-5.

Sanford-Fritch will challenge Gruver at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Vega, they will square off against Sunray at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Vega is facing Sunray at the right time seeing as Sunray is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
