Monticello led 1A - South in scoring this week by notching 51 points on Altamont.

The Buckaroos made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 10,392 from 11,148. They were able to move up in the ranks after a 51-6 victory over the Longhorns last week.

Monticello's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Buckaroos feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Makade Maloy has thrown for 374 yards and 1 touchdown this season, while Austin Wilcox has 4 catches for 166 yards.

The top two teams in the league will face off this week when first place Diamond Ranch Academy takes on second place Monticello.
