Volleyball Recap: Raytown Takes a Loss

Raytown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Lincoln College Prep Blue Tigers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Blue Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 last Friday.

Lincoln College Prep can attribute much of their success to Ben Golec, who had five digs and three aces.

Raytown's loss dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Lincoln College Prep, they moved to 9-4 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Raytown didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Belton on the 19th. As for Lincoln College Prep, they have also already played their next contest, a 1-1 tie against Ruskin on the 19th.
