Basketball Recap: River View Comes Up Short

River View lost against Mabton back in February of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The River View Panthers took a blow against the Mabton Vikings, falling 59-13. The game marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

River View's loss was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Mabton, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 11-1.

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the River View Panthers face off against the Tri-Cities Prep Jaguars at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Mabton, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Columbia at 5:30 p.m. Mabton knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past ten contests -- so hopefully Columbia likes a good challenge.
