Softball Game Preview: Wooster Generals vs. Ashland Arrows

The Wooster Generals will face off against the Ashland Arrows at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Wooster lost 8-2 to Dover on Wednesday. The Generals have struggled against the Crimson Tornadoes recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Emily Boyd was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. That home run marked the first that she has launched this season.

Meanwhile, Ashland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They came up short against Lexington, falling 11-1. That's two games in a row now that the Arrows have lost by exactly ten runs.

Wooster's defeat dropped their record down to 4-16. As for Ashland, their loss dropped their record down to 3-11.
