Basketball Recap: Chrisman Falls Short of Rockhurst in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Chrisman can now relate to. They were dealt a 76-34 loss at the hands of the Rockhurst Hawklets on Wednesday. The defeat leaves the Bears still looking for their first win of the season.

Leading Rockhurst to victory were Callen Eskew and Carson Green. Eskew posted 16 points and five boards, while Green scored 13 points. Eskew's evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Maxwell Moylan, who had eight points.

Chrisman's loss dropped their record down to 0-21. As for Rockhurst, their victory was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 21-4.

Chrisman does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Rockhurst, they will venture away from home to square off against Lee's Summit West at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Rockhurst has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 206 points over their last three games.
