Basketball Recap: Saugerties Takes a Loss

Saugerties was not able to break out of their rough patch on Sunday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were dealt a 67-36 loss at the hands of the Canandaigua Academy Braves. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Sawyers have suffered since February 9th.

Saugerties now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Canandaigua Academy, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Saugerties will challenge Warwick at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Warwick will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Saugerties surely won't give up without a fight. As for Canandaigua Academy, they will square off against Monroe at 5:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
