Volleyball Recap: Addison Rivera Leads a Balanced Effort to Beat San Antonio Patriots Homeschool

Antonian Prep's tournament run continued when they took on San Antonio Patriots HomeSchool on Thursday. The Apaches came out on top against San Antonio Patriots HomeSchool by a score of 2-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Apaches.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Antonian Prep to victory, but perhaps none more so than Addison Rivera, who had four digs and three aces. Those four digs gave Rivera a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Carley Leal, who had 12 digs and one assist.

Antonian Prep's victory bumped their record up to 14-8. As for San Antonio Patriots HomeSchool, their loss dropped their record down to 10-3.

Coincidentally, Antonian Prep and San Antonio Patriots HomeSchool will both be playing Clemens the next time they take the court. San Antonio Patriots HomeSchool will head out to face the Buffaloes at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Apaches will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
