Basketball Game Preview: Kee Kee Hawks vs. Turkey Valley Trojans

The Kee Kee Hawks are taking a road trip to face off against the Turkey Valley Trojans on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Turkey Valley will be up against a hot Kee team: the squad just extended their winning streak to six. Kee simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat Clayton-Ridge 58-30.

Meanwhile, Turkey Valley had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 23 points) and they went ahead and made it five on Thursday. They blew past the Blue Devils, posting a 61-13 victory. Given the Trojans' advantage in MaxPreps' Iowa basketball rankings (they are ranked 146th, while the Blue Devils are ranked 327th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Kee's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-6. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 25.5 points over those games. As for Turkey Valley, their victory bumped their record up to 17-5.

Kee lost to Turkey Valley on the road by a decisive 59-42 margin when the teams last played back in January. Can Kee avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
