Volleyball Recap: Lely Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Lely managed to slip by Palmetto Ridge the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Trojans lost 3-0 to the Bears on Tuesday. The Trojans' loss continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

The final score came out to 25-21, 25-20, 25-16.

Palmetto Ridge found their leader in sophomore Ashlan Neugent, who had 16 digs and two aces. Neugent is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 15 or more in each of the last three games she's played. Alysha Benavides was another key player, getting 11 digs.

Lely's record is now 7-13. As for Palmetto Ridge, the win got them back to even at 9-9.

Coming up, Lely will be playing at home against Aubrey Rogers at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Palmetto Ridge, they will square off against Divine Savior Academy at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
