Bacon County lost against Worth County two weeks ago and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Bacon County Raiders took a 54-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Worth County Rams. The Raiders' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Bacon County's loss came despite strong showings from Makayla Thomas and Marnay'Jah Reynolds. Thomas dropped a double-double on 13 points and 15 boards, while Reynolds posted 18 points in addition to six assists and three steals. That was a full 39.1% of Bacon County's points, marking the third time in a row she's scored more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Macie Holton, who put up nine points.

Worth County found their leader in sophomore Jariah Williams, who earned 23 points and seven steals. Williams' afternoon made it five games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Amya Garmon, who had eight points along with six steals and five rebounds.

Bacon County's loss dropped their record down to 12-7. As for Worth County, they now have a winning record of 9-8.

Bacon County wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 53-34 defeat against Thomasville on the 5th. As for Worth County, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 48-39 victory against Jeff Davis on the 3rd.
