Volleyball Recap: St. John's Pioneers vs. Central Golden Eagles

St. John posted their closest win since April 17th on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out the Central Golden Eagles 3-2.

St. John's took Central into a fifth set where they got it done with a two-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 27-29, 28-26, 25-16, 23-25, 15-13.

Francis McGonagle paced St. John's offense, picking up 32 kills. McGonagle got some help from Anirudh Vasudevan and his 43 assists. McGonagle was also solid from the service line: he led the team with five aces.
