Basketball Recap: Waynedale Takes a Loss

After flying high against Northwestern last Tuesday, Waynedale came back down to earth. The Waynedale Golden Bears took a 68-55 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hillsdale Falcons on Friday. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Golden Bears this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 66-49 back in December of 2024.

Waynedale dropped their record down to 6-12 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Hillsdale, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-4.

When Waynedale and Hillsdale next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Waynedale will try to stop Norwayne's three-game winning streak when the meet at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Hillsdale will challenge Mohawk and their seven-game winning streak at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
